News｜Labeling of allergenic substances in cosmetics

The makeup products used in our stores may vary slightly by location. You can refer to this article in advance to avoid using products that may not be suitable for you.
At our stores, we use disposable makeup kits (including sponges, lip brushes, and powder puffs) for each customer. Additionally, all brushes are disinfected using a UV sterilizer after each use.
The following are the top 10 allergens listed by The International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology:
- Nickel sulfate
- Neomycin sulfate
- Balsam of Peru
- Fragrance ingredients
- Thiomersal
- Sodium gold thiosulfate
- Quaternium-15
- Formaldehyde
- Bacitracin
- Cobalt chloride
According to the EU Cosmetic Products Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, there are specific guidelines for the use of fragrance ingredients in cosmetics. Under this regulation, if a fragrance is added to a cosmetic product at a concentration exceeding 100 ppm (0.01%) for rinse-off products or 10 ppm (0.001%) for leave-on products, the individual components must be listed on the product label.
If the cosmetic products used in HOLO+FACE branches contain any of the 26 fragrance allergens, they are listed as follows:
